Los Altos Senior Program displays 'Art on the Patio'

Seniors wishing to expand their artistic knowledge and discover what local artists are creating can attend “Art on the Patio,” scheduled 2 p.m. July 19 in the quad outside the Hillview Community Center, 97 Hillview Ave.

The Los Altos Senior Program is located at Hillview Community Center. Hours are 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. weekdays.

The Grant Park Senior Program is located at 1575 Holt Ave. Hours are 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Mondays and Wednesdays.

Annual Senior Program membership costs $26 for Los Altos residents, $40 for nonresidents. Add $6 for home delivery of The Spotlight, the center’s bimonthly newsletter.

Ongoing activities include games such as bridge, mah-jongg, poker and Scrabble; pickleball; Zumba, stretch and chair workouts; the Sock Monkey Ladies craft group; and classes and discussion groups on current events and foreign affairs.
