Cooking for One

In conjunction with the Community Services Agency and the University of San Francisco School of Nursing, the Senior Center has scheduled Cooking for One, a review of nutritional guidelines, the impact of food choices on healthful aging and cooking on a budget, noon April 28 in Room 12.

Bring a recipe to share. Salad and dessert will be served.


Day trips

• Union Square Macy’s Flower Show – 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. March 31.

Cost – $33 for members, $40 for nonmembers – includes transportation and a self-guided tour. Lunch not included.

• Monterey Bay Aquarium – 9:15 a.m. to 4:15 p.m. May 24.

Cost – $75 for members, $85 for nonmembers – includes transportation and admission. Lunch not included.

• The Senior Center is gauging interest in a summer trip to see “Billy Elliott the Musical” at the Orpheum Theater in San Francisco.

Cost – $144 or less – would include ticket, transportation and bus-driver gratuity.
