Michael Center, the former University of Texas at Austin tennis coach who accepted a $100,000 bribe to masquerade a Los Altos Hills student as an athletic recruit, has been sentenced to six months in prison and one year of supervised release.

Additional victims of attempted MV kidnapping come forward

Following the publicized arrest of a 33-year-old man in connection to the attempted kidnapping of a 53-year-old Mountain View woman last week, another woman has alleged the suspect also took her and her daughter hostage in the same neighborhood, according to an updated press release from the Mountain View Police Department.

Mountain View Police Department officers are investigating a rash of auto burglaries that left scores of vehicles in two local neighborhoods with shattered windows.
