Ray Loughlin, age 67, passed away unexpectedly from a sudden heart attack in Bellingham, WA, on Thursday, July 13, 2017.

Ray was born January 23, 1950 in San Jose, CA to Chris and Helen Loughlin. He grew up in Los Altos and graduated from St. Francis High School. He earned his bachelor’s degree in industrial arts from San Jose State University, where he met his wife, Pat, in a woodworking class.

Marilyn Coe peacefully passed away on September 14. She was a loving mother and beloved grandma who will be missed by her family and community. Marilyn led a rich life and was loved and respected by all. She was a kind, independent and strong person who volunteered in her community and supported her friends and family to the fullest.

PHYLLIS L. REED

Phyllis L. Reed, 89, of Mountain View, California passed away on October 7, 2017. Funeral Services were held on October 13, 2017 at Christ Episcopal Church of Los Altos. Burial followed at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Los Altos. Spangler Mortuary of Los Altos is handled the funeral arrangements.

Longtime Los Altos resident William (Bill) Welch passed away and joined his beloved mother in heaven. He was a loyal friend with a great sense of humor.

San Francisco native and Los Altos resident Emma Odello, 98, passed away on September 24, shortly after suffering a stroke.
