Beatrice Mae Craddock

Beatrice Mae Craddock at rest August 5, 2020 at her home in Los Altos. Born on January 20, 1924 to Stephen Harkov and Lilly Toranenko. Her siblings were Anne, Phil, Dan Harkov; and Carlton Wadsworth when she joined the John & Lucille Wadsworth family at a young age. It was then that the Beatrice Harkov was first known as Beatrice Wadsworth. In 1943 she met a young cadet, Jesse J. Craddock, who introduced her to a life as the wife of a career Military Officer. They were married on July 19, 1945 and in 1947 their family was complete with the birth of Doug. In 1958 Mr. Craddock joined Farmers Insurance and shortly thereafter they relocated to their Los Altos residence. Los Altos has been home these many years although they enjoyed many years of travel with many trips to Hawaii, England, and other places about the United States. Beatrice and Jesse were involved not only in the Insurance and Real Estate industry but were very active in the Military Officers Association of America, The Retired Officers Association, the Elks Club Palo Alto, and the Master Swim Programs. 

 Beatrice is survived by son Douglas. Jesse passed away after a short illness in 2019. Services were at graveside where she was laid to rest at Alta Mesa Memorial Park with her late husband. Chaplain Fred Tittle officiating.
