Helen Gualtieri

Helen Gualtieri 112019 online9/9/1919-11/11/2019 Helen Gualtieri, 100 of Los Altos Hills, passed away gracefully on November 11th. She was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota, where she met her husband, Virgil. They married during the war in 1943 and were married for 72 years.  They moved to California, where they raised their boys.  Always a strong and passionate woman, she had a successful 21-year career as a Supervisor at Kaiser, where she retired from in 1986. In retirement, she volunteered, gardened, was an avid traveler, and attended art classes at the Los Altos Senior Center.  She enjoyed mediums of oils and watercolors. “A rainy day turns into a sunny day when I’m painting.” Helen was preceded in death by her husband, Virgil; and sons Lee and Randy.  Survived by daughter-in-laws Kathy and Debbie; grandchildren Lee Michael, Kevin, Sarah, and Ryan; great-grandchild, Haylee.
