Joan Westlund Case

Joan CaseJoan Westlund Case, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and dear friend passed away peacefully on June 3, 2018 in Templeton, California. Joan, Stan (her husband of 67 years) and her kids Diana, Mike, Dave and Tom lived in Los Altos and Los Altos Hills from 1961 through 1984 before moving to Templeton on the Central Coast.

Born in 1930 in San Francisco, Joan loved “The City” and adored her life with Stan and raising their four children in Los Altos Hills. “Joanie” was extremely active in Los Altos Hills Little League, a fixture at the scorekeepers table where Stan coached, and the boys played. Joan means “grace” a perfect definition for a life well lived and shared in love and care for others. She lived a selfless life, creating a loving environment for her four children and eight grandchildren and one great grandchild, while supporting Stan and his company Case Pacific.

Joan was a creative and lifelong learner who with a dear friend successfully created “The Flower Factory” sharing her green thumb with businesses like banks, doctors and other professionals. Joan was an avid gardener, reader, cook and student of history who loved to volunteer at her local church and library. Stan and Joan loved to travel, visiting all 50 states and enjoyed camping in National Parks, visiting presidential libraries and baseball stadiums across the country. Everyone who was lucky enough to know Joan remembers her vibrant, positive, selfless and fun-loving personality.

A celebration of life service is scheduled for Saturday, July 21 at 11 am at the Plymouth Congregational Church, 1301 Oak Street, Paso Robles, California. The family requests that memorial donations be made to Paso Cares, P.O. Box 2834 Paso Robles, CA. 93447,
