July 4, 1928 – January 30, 2018

Betty Clarke went home to the Lord on Tuesday morning January 30th. She was 89 years of age.

She passed away peacefully in her home with her loving husband of 69 years.

She was the mother of 8 children and is preceded in death by her son Kenneth Clarke and daughter Sandi Clarke Herrera. Her surviving children include; Michael (Mary), Robert (Michael Grove), Elaine (Mark Twede), Donald (Debi), Barbara (Donald Chapin), Mark (Megan) and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great -great grandchildren. She also leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews from California to British Columbia.

Betty was a devoted wife and mother born in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. She and her husband Wil moved to Santa Cruz, California in 1948, where they had their first five children. In 1957 they moved to Campbell where they had three more children. The family attended St. Lucy’s Catholic Church where she was an active member of the Mother’s Guild, Y.L.I. and many other committees. She was very devoted to the rosary and the blessed Mother of our Lord, which exemplified her way of life.

In 1973 Betty and Wil relocated to Los Altos and became active members of St. Simons Church. They loved traveling with family and friends. Betty loved skiing, golfing and was greatly know for her knitting projects.

Betty was a woman of many talents and will be missed by all who knew her.
