Born in December of 1919, (Mary) Jane Guerena Scott died in February of 2017 while with Hospice homecare and family.
Apart from youthful summertime escapades with siblings Catherine and Frank on family farms in the Sierra foothills, this San Francisco native cherished her Bay Area roots, graduating from Stanford University and living her life in this area.
After retiring from the workforce with Ma Bell, she raised two sons; Kirk and Brad, with her beloved husband Frank Grosvenor Scott. Outliving her husband of thirty-seven years by thirty-four years, this flower girl nourished relationships with family and friends, while always cultivating her precious garden, started in an old apricot orchard in 1955.
Within her family, she is lovingly remembered by her boys and their spouses, three adoring grandchildren and their spouses, ten great-grandchildren, her wonderful sister Catherine, and many nieces and nephews. A private celebration of her life is planned.
