OBIT RobertRoberts

Our dear Bob passed away peacefully in his sleep Thursday January 16th, 2014. He was born June 24th, 1955 to parents Robert L. Roberts and Virginia R. Roberts. He attended Carmel Grammar School, Block Junior High and he graduated from Awalt High School in Los Altos. Bob was a superb athlete who excelled in track and in football at Awalt. He was designated a Scholar Athlete and was voted MVP in his Junior and Senior years.

After High School he attended Foothill College where he continued to play football and earned an Associates of Science Degree in Aviation in 1977. While attending Foothill he met the light of his life Carol Ann Lange. They married on June 21st, 1986. In 1990 they welcomed their first and only son Robert Thomas Roberts.

Bob was retired from Sun Microsystems. He was an avid sports fan; faithful to his favorite teams the San Francisco Giants and 49ers. He loved animals, was a wonderful cook and enjoyed traveling with his family.
