Nov. 12, 1925 – Feb. 4, 2013

Salvatore Nappo, better known as “Sal” by his friends and family passed away peacefully on February 4, 2013. Sal lived in Mountain View, CA for 61 years. Sal was born on Nov. 12, 1925 in New York, NY. At age 17, Sal joined the US Navy, and served for 4 years during World War II. After the war, Sal ran a successful painting business with his wife. Sal loved to fish and watch his SF Giants. His quick wit, kind heart and generous hugs will be missed by his friends and family

Sal is survived by his wife of 62 years, Charlene Nappo; daughter and son-in-law Wayne and Letty Baldaro of Glendale, CA; his son Larry Nappo of Portland, OR, his grandsons Aaron and Dustin Baldaro of Glendale, CA.

Services were held at the Peninsula Bible Church in Cupertino. Donations in his memory can be made to either Peninsula Bible Church or NAMI, 1550 E. Colorado St., Glendale, CA 91205.
