Los Altos Boy Scout Troop 37 recently honored Justin Kasso and Simon Burdick for achieving the rank of Eagle Scout. The Eagle distinction is the highest rank in Boy Scouts, requiring at least 21 merit badges and completion of a community service project.

For his Eagle project, Kasso designed and built a four-sided information kiosk at Covington School. He is a junior at Los Altos High School.

Burdick designed and constructed two redwood grape arbors for the native garden at Oak Avenue School for his Eagle project. He is a senior at Los Altos High.
