Bajuk assumes new role at PA History Museum
Former Los Altos History Museum Executive Director Laura Bajuk has been named interim director of the soon-to-open Palo Alto History Museum.
Bajuk left Los Altos last year for the Palo Alto museum’s development director position. She succeeds former Director Myron Freedman, who is leaving for another position.
Bajuk will continue her work in development while serving as interim director. A Palo Alto resident, Bajuk brings nearly 20 years of museum experience to the role.
“Palo Alto deserves a great history museum, and I am delighted to help build it,” she said.
The Palo Alto museum continues fundraising toward its $20 million capital campaign goal. It will be housed in the city-owned Roth Building at 300 Homer Ave., the original location of the Palo Alto Medical Foundation. The museum will also serve as the new home of the century-old Palo Alto Historical Association, steward of the city of Palo Alto archives.
