RotaCare honors local volunteer
RotaCare Bay Area honored Jim Cochran of the RotaCare Mountain View Free Medical Clinic with the Outstanding Clinic Volunteer Award April 10 for his commitment to RotaCare’s mission of providing free medical care to those with the greatest need and least access.
Cochran was among the dozen volunteers recognized by the 12 RotaCare clinics in the Bay Area, which are run with a work force of volunteer physicians, nurses, health-care administrators and local residents.
RotaCare Bay Area honored Cochran and other volunteers during National Volunteer Week, which coincided with the nonprofit organization’s 25th anniversary.
