Article unfair to Lee Eng
The Town Crier article “Lee Eng faces public critique in council meeting” (Dec. 23), appears to be very one-sided against Los Altos City Councilmember Lynette Lee Eng.
The article takes her to task for saying that she felt threatened. Granted, there may not have been any specific physical threat, but the tone of the texts sent by Kenan Moos, the co-founder of Justice Vanguard, goes way beyond expressing just some disagreement. It is verbally abusive and threatening. I can see how Lee Eng might think the next step could be a physical threat.
The article glosses over the statement made by Moos that her supporters are racist. How dare he call a whole group of people racist. What proof does he have? Why didn’t the article challenge him to provide the basis for his accusation and ask him about the threatening tone of his texts?
Lee Eng just got re-elected by a comfortable margin and all those supporters of hers are racist? No, they voted for her because of her overall accomplishments, even though they may not have agreed with her on every position she took.

Los Altos
Dutchints article appreciated
I just read the very informative article regarding Dutchints Development LLC by Eric He published Aug. 19 (“Los Altos developer approved for major housing projects facing multiple lawsuits”).
I would love to get updates on further developments on this story since then. Thank you for great reporting!
