Mtn. View’s Pear Theatre streams war drama ‘Elliot’ through next week

Mountain View-based Pear Theatre’s live-filmed production of “Elliot: A Soldier’s Fugue” is slated to be streamed through Sept. 13.

Written by Quiara Alegría Hudes, the drama traces the legacy of war through three generations of a Puerto Rican family. It is the story of Elliot, a 19-year-old Marine, and his experiences after returning from Iraq. The production offers a multigenerational look at war as Elliot’s family members share their stories of military service.

Tessa Corrie directs a cast that includes Marco Neves, Francisco Rodriguez, Gabriel Montoya and Carolina Morones.

Tickets to access a filming of the show are $30-$34.
