PYT serves 'Tacos' this weekend in Mtn. View

Peninsula Youth Theatre’s production of “Dragons Love Tacos” is set to run Friday and Saturday at the Mountain View Center for the Performing Arts, 500 Castro St.

The play is based on Adam Rubin’s best-selling children’s book about a taco-loving dragon who isn’t the ideal party guest after being served spicy salsa.

Karen Simpson directs a cast that includes Tamar Boiman, Ella Brutman, Julia Fung, Theo Gardiner, Max Kelly, Hannah Kitamura, Ani Lawit, Talia Lawit, Anisya Malinovskaya, Natalie Perrochon, Tessa Prodromou, Sophia Schafer-Wharton, Michael Tucker and Val Zvinyatskovsky.

Shows are slated 9:30 and 11 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. Friday and 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. Saturday. Tickets are $11-$13. A sensory-friendly performance for autistic/special-needs children is set for 5 p.m. Saturday. Tickets are $13.
