Los Altos Stage Company’s South Bay premiere of “Oslo,” the 2017 Tony Award winner for Best Play, is scheduled to preview Jan. 23, open Jan. 24 and run through Feb. 16 at Bus Barn Theater, 97 Hillview Ave.
The play tells the story of the back-channel talks, unlikely friendships and quiet heroics that led to the Oslo Peace Accords between the Israelis and Palestinians.
LASC executive artistic director Gary Landis directs “Oslo,” the third production of the company’s 25th anniversary season. His creative team includes Roneet Aliza Rahamim (assistant director), Christopher Fitzer (scenic designer), Lisa Rozman (costume designer), Carson Duper (lighting designer), Ken Kilen (sound designer) and Miranda Whipple (properties designer).
The 13-member cast comprises Mark Berman, Robert Sean Campbell, Josiah Frampton, Maya Greenberg, Mohamed Ismail, Marty Lee Jones, Keith Larson, Peter Mandel, Tanya Marie, Ronnie Misra, Michael Sally, Efsun Alper Sweet and Jonathan Wright.
Performances are slated 8 p.m. Wednesdays through Saturdays and 3 p.m. Sundays.
Tickets are $20-$38. A reception with the artists will follow the opening-night show.
