Curtain comes down on Pear's 'Oh, Coward!' Sunday in Mtn. View

Pear Theatre’s musical theater production “Oh, Coward!” is scheduled to close Sunday in Mountain View.

The two-act musical features four actors, performing songs and sketches by Roderick Cook about England, relatives, travel, theater, love and women, as well as music by Noel Coward.

“Oh, Coward!” ran Off-Broadway in 1972, and was one of the last Coward shows staged during his lifetime.

The cast features Kristin Brownstone, Betsy Kruse Craig, Dan Kapler and Mike Rhone.

The production is co-directed by Pear founder Diane Tasca and Artistic Director Craig, supported by Kelly Weber Barraza (stage manager), Paul Marenco (music director), Michael Saenz (choreographer), Brad Arington (accompanist), Norm Beamer (set designer) and Megan Routher (lighting designer).

Shows are slated 8 p.m. Thursdays through Saturdays and 2 p.m. Sundays at 1110 La Avenida St. Tickets are $10-$20.
