Los Altos Stage Company’s production of the Broadway hit “Pippin” is scheduled to run through June 24.
Young prince Pippin is in search of the secret to true happiness and fulfillment. He seeks it in the glories of the battlefield, the temptations of the flesh and the intrigues of political power. In the end, however, Pippin finds that happiness lies not in extraordinary endeavors, but rather in the simple moments that happen every day.
The musical features music and lyrics by Stephen Schwartz and a book by Roger O. Hirson.
Virginia Drake directs and Dominic Dagdagan plays the title role. “Pippin” also features Joe Antonicelli, Christine Baker, Stephanie Corey, Timothy Ford, Gary Giurbino, Tiffany Jianto, Rohan Kumar, Elizabeth Claire Lawrence, Russell Mangan, Katie Mazon, Kat O’Toole, Deborah Rosengaus. Performances are slated 8 p.m. Wednesdays through Saturdays and 3 p.m. Sundays at Bus Barn Theater, 97 Hillview Ave.
