Tenor Schade performs Monday at JCC

Chamber Music San Francisco presents tenor Michael Schade in a concert slated 7:30 p.m. Monday at the Schultz Theatre at the Osh- man Family Jewish Community Center, 3921 Fabian Way, Palo Alto.

Hailed as one of the world’s leading tenors, Schade will be supported by violinist Livia Sohn and pianist Kevin Murphy.

Schade participated in the Merola program in 1990 and won acclaim as David in San Francisco Opera’s production of Wagner’s “Die Meistersinger” in 2001. He was most recently seen in the Bay Area in a 2009 Cal Performances recital. Schade also performs on the international stage and has frequently appeared at the Metropolitan Opera.
