The Los Altos High girls golf team wrapped up its season with a pair of wins last week to finish 9-1 in the Santa Clara Valley Athletic League El Camino Division.

Mountain View won all three of its matches last week to finish with the second-best record in the SCVAL De Anza Division at 10-2.

Coach Frank Smyth said the Spartans’ success against Homestead, Saratoga and Palo Alto was “mainly due to the fine performances of the singles players.” That group included top player Penelope Wong, No. 2 player Audrey Shen and No. 3 player Stephanie Hsu, along with Marina Raynaud and Glenda Boeker, who each got a chance to play at the No. 4 spot.
