Pinewood’s Jovanovic commits to Fullerton
Pinewood School girls basketball player Una Jovanovic has committed to Cal State Fullerton. The senior averaged a team-high 11 points per game last season. She is the fourth Panther to commit to a college this year.

Nominees sought for Double-Goal Coaches
The Positive Coaching Alliance welcomes nominations for its 2020 Double-Goal Coach Awards, which honor coaches who not only strive to win, but teach life lessons through sports and show players how to respect the game. The deadline is Nov. 30. Nominees must have at least three years’ experience coaching at a school or with a club or rec team. The 100 regional winners will be announced in February and the 25 national winners in March, each of whom will receive $500. One nominee will be named the PCA National Coach of the Year and win $10,000 – $2,500 for the coach and $7,500 donated to the school or youth sport organization of the coach’s choice. Women’s golf group seeks members
