MVA goes unbeaten in boys basketball

The Mountain View Academy boys basketball team completed an undefeated season last month. The Mustangs went 12-0 in the Private School Athletic League Central Division and 18-0 overall. MVA did not compete in the Central Coast Section playoffs because it’s a Seventh-day Adventist Church school that does not participate in nonreligious activities from sundown on Friday through sundown on Saturday.

Los Altos, Mtn. View win baseball openers

The baseball teams from Los Altos and Mountain View highs won their respective season-openers last week. The Eagles defeated Gunn 8-2 and the Spartans routed Monta Vista 10-0.

Los Altos High seeks coaches

Los Altos High seeks head coaches for three of its teams: varsity girls lacrosse and varsity boys golf, both spring sports, and varsity girls golf, a fall sport.
