Local resident aces hole at Pasatiempo

Richard Strock of Los Altos made a hole-in-one March 21 at Santa Cruz’s Pasatiempo Golf Course. He aced the 120-yard 15th hole with a 9-iron.

MV Sports Boosters host golf tournament

The Mountain View High School Sports Boosters second golf tournament is slated Saturday at Shoreline Golf Links. Registration begins at 11 a.m. and the shotgun start is at noon. Registration is $150 for adults and $100 for students; cost includes gift bag, food and drinks. Proceeds benefit Mountain View athletics. Spring sports camps set for April 15-19

Spartans Sports Camp’s Spring Break Camps are scheduled April 15-19 at Mountain View High. The multisport, basketball and tennis camps are coed; full- and half-day options are available. The multisport camp is open to students in grades 1-7, and the basketball and tennis camps are offered to those in grades 3-8. Registration ranges from a $65 daily rate to $399 for the week. Women’s golf group invites new members

Tuesday Toppers, a women’s nine-hole golf group with local members, tees off 8:30 a.m. Tuesdays at Pruneridge Golf Club in Santa Clara. Cost is $5, plus $17-$22 per round. For more information, visit pruneridgegolfclub.com.
