MVHS AD Social set for Saturday night

Mountain View High’s fourth annual Athletic Directors Social is scheduled 7-11 p.m. Saturday at the Mountain View Senior Center, 266 Escuela Ave. The Mountain View High band is scheduled to provide live music. Proceeds will support replacing the athletic department’s failing electric carts. Tickets are $75, which includes food, wine and beer. SF graduate Johnson heats up for Heat

Women’s golf group invites new members

Tuesday Toppers, a women’s nine-hole golf group with local members, tees off 8:30 a.m. Tuesdays at Pruneridge Golf Club, 400 Saratoga Ave., Santa Clara. Cost is $5, plus $17-$22 per round. To join and for more information, visit pruneridgegolfclub.com.

City of Mtn. View offers open gym

The Mountain View Recreation Division’s Teen Open Gym, free and open to the city’s middle and high school students, is slated 6:30-9:30 p.m. Saturdays at the Whisman Sports Center, 1500 Middlefield Road. The events offer youth a place to play basketball, volleyball and indoor soccer. Participants must show a student ID at the door. For more information, call 903-6331.
