Eagles bound for Saturday's state volleyball finals

The Los Altos High girls volleyball team celebrates its four-set win over Cosumnes Oaks in Tuesday night’s Northern Calfornia Division II final.

The Los Altos High girls volleyball team beat visiting Cosumnes Oaks in four sets Tuesday night (Nov. 13) to advance to the state championships for the first time in school history.

The Eagles (33-8) are slated to face Village Christian (39-9) of Sun Valley in the Division II final at 4 p.m. Saturday at Santiago Canyon College in Orange.

In Tuesday’s NorCal final, No. 2 Los Altos defeated No. 5 Cosumnes Oaks 25-20, 21-25, 25-23, 25-19. Naomie Cremoux notched 12 kills and five aces for the Eagles, while Katie Kishton recorded nine kills and 22 assists. Kaitlyn Wong added 19 digs and five aces.
