“Broadway Sing from A to Z,” part of the Schola Cantorum 2013 Summer Sings series, is scheduled 7:30 p.m. Aug. 12 at Los Altos United Methodist Church, 655 Magdalena Ave.

Participants in the “Summer Sings” concert will join choral enthusiasts from around the Bay Area in singing some of the classics from the Great White Way under guest conductor Dawn Reyen, music director of Aurora Singers and assistant conductor of Schola Cantorum.

Audience members will sing the choruses and solos, and Schola Cantorum will provide the scores on loan for the evening. Those who wish only to listen are also welcome to attend.

The Mountain View-based Schola Cantorum, founded in 1964, is an auditioned 90-voice chorus under the direction of Gregory Wait.

Tickets are $15. Those 25 and under are free.
