Speaker series features ‘Bully’ film and discussion

The Mountain View Los Altos Parent Education Speaker Series has scheduled a screening of the film “Bully” 6:30 p.m. Tuesday in Spartan Theater at Mountain View High School, 3535 Truman Ave.

“Bully” is a 2011 documentary by Lee Hirsch about bullying in U.S. schools. The film chronicles the lives of five students who face bullying on a daily basis.

Experts in bullying prevention Gloria Moskowitz-Sweet, co-founder of My Digital TAT2, and Jack Weinstein, director of Facing History and Ourselves, will moderate a discussion following the film.

The Mountain View-Los Altos High School Foundation and the Los Altos-Mountain View PTA Council co-sponsor the event.

Admission is free and open to the public.
