Dear Katie,

My friends are never available when I am. How can I schedule play dates without an email?

Yours truly,

Confused in California

Dear Confused in California,

I have been having a similar problem over the months my friends just haven’t been available. I don’t text or have email, so I decided to go the old-fashioned way – writing letters.

At first I was skeptical, but as I wrote them I found out that it’s actually pretty fun. When I write, I like to make my letters fun for the eye: Try writing in code, doing designs on the note or using bubble letters. Most importantly, write the date and time you wish to meet him or her.

I hope this is helpful.
