Los Altos High seeks STEAM Week volunteers

Los Altos High School’s STEAM Week Committee seeks a speaker coordinator and other volunteers. The committee organizes STEAM Week each fall, which brings science, technology, engineering, art and math speakers to the school.

The speaker coordinator communicates with all speakers to gather and relay information – including logistics, biography and technology needs – and to answer any speaker questions. The coordinator is also responsible for coordinating between the STEAM Speaker Committee and individual speakers to craft talk titles and abstracts. The majority of work occurs six weeks prior through the end of STEAM Week, at a rate of approximately three to five hours per week.
