St. Nicholas presents ‘Willy Wonka Jr.’

St. Nicholas Catholic School is scheduled to present “Willy Wonka Jr.” 6:30 p.m. Saturday and 3 p.m. Sunday at the school, 12816 El Monte Road, Los Altos Hills.

Students in grades 4-8 stage a spring musical every year. Meg Fischer-Venuti, St. Nicholas drama coach and director at Peninsula Youth Theatre, directs the production.

The show is open to the public. Tickets, $7, will be available at the door.

LinkedIn hosts MVHS students

The View Teen Center and Linked- In invite Mountain View High School students to visit the LinkedIn campus April 21 for a tour and discussions with employees at a job fair-styled event.

Transportation will be provided from the school to LinkedIn, and back to The View Teen Center. Space is limited.

To apply by Friday’s deadline, email theviewteencenter @mountainview.gov with name, grade, and two or three sentences on why you would like to attend.

Library schedules college prep workshop

The Los Altos Library has scheduled a workshop on the role of extracurricular activities and summer plans in college admissions 7 p.m. Thursday in the Orchard Room of the main library, 13 S. San Antonio Road.

FLEX College Prep will lead the discussion, covering topics such as quantity vs. quality of activities and how to stand out from other applicants.

View Teen Center offers SAT course

The View Teen Center has scheduled a three-day SAT overview course for Mountain View and Los Altos teens, meeting 5 p.m. April 18, 10 a.m. April 22 and 5 p.m. April 25 at the Teen Center, 263 Escuela Ave., Mountain View.

Khan Academy instructors will teach the course.

Participation is free. Attendees must commit to all three sessions.
