Local kindergartner pens article for the Town Crier

Gardner Bullis School kindergartner Celeste Lloyd visited the Town Crier offices June 1 to work with associate editor Traci Newell as a cub reporter on the accompanying article featuring her school’s librarian.

Celeste, who is in Amy Lile’s kindergarten class and said she enjoys the days when Lile brings her daughter to visit.

She also likes the library. An advanced reader, Celeste said her favorite book is “Love, Splat” (HarperCollins, 2008) by Rob Scotton. In addition to reading, Celeste writes her own stories about animals on a farm.

She just learned to ride a bicycle without training wheels and challenges herself on the monkey bars at school.

Celeste’s family lives in Los Altos Hills, where she has fun playing with her younger sister.

This summer, Celeste plans to attend a number of camps including a horse camp and Camp Galileo.

The Town Crier donated the stint as a cub reporter for Gardner Bullis School’s annual PTA auction.
