Local students graduate from college
• Rachel Mock of Los Altos Hills earned a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Rochester Institute of Technology.
• Wyatt Eng of Los Altos earned a bachelor’s in bioinformatics from Pacific University. Eng graduated cum laude and received the Outstanding Contributions to Student Life Award from the university.
• Katja Diekgers of Los Altos earned a bachelor’s in zoology from Miami University and graduated cum laude.
Two students from Los Altos graduated from Gonzaga University in May.
• Theodore Canfield earned a bachelor’s in business administration.
• Malou Parekh earned a bachelor’s in biology.
Local college students earn academic honors
• Meghan F. Bray of Los Altos and Elias E. Wilson of Mountain View made the spring term scholastic honor roll at Oregon State University, which requires a GPA of 3.5 or above and at least 12 graded hours of course work. Bray is a junior majoring in public health. Wilson is a senior majoring in fisheries and wildlife sciences.
Twenty local students made the spring semester dean’s list at Washington University in St. Louis.
• Los Altos: Chris Chow, Marisa Gong, Ashley Hu, Kimberly Lynch, Hannah Shapiro, Reese Toomre and Nao Yanase, College of Arts & Sciences; Stephanie Chui, Zack Kaplan and Kenneth McNelly, Mc- Kelvey School of Engineering; and Janelle McAfee, Olin Business School. Chow and Gong recently graduated.
• Los Altos Hills: Pooja Belur, Rebecca Lim, Emily Spector and AJ Villeneuve, College of Arts & Sciences. Belur recently graduated.
