April 25, 6:56 a.m., 900 block of Fremont Avenue: An unknown suspect smashed the passenger windows of two vehicles parked near a Loyola Corners fitness facility. Nothing was reported stolen from either vehicle.
False alarm on residential burglary
April 25, 12:16 p.m., 200 block of Hillview Avenue: A resident’s call to police reporting a residential burglary in progress turned out to be a false alarm. According to police, a resident notified them that three people were inside an unfamiliar vehicle parked in front of a neighbor’s house. Police later determined that the people were gardeners hired to do landscaping work in the neighbor’s backyard.
April 25, 2:50 p.m., 600 block of Springer Terrace: An unknown suspect gained entry to a home through an unlocked rear window and ransacked the kitchen and master bedroom areas. Several electronic and jewelry items were reported stolen from the home.
April 27, 4:36 p.m., 4300 block of El Camino Real: An unknown suspect stole a bicycle parked in the underground parking area of a condominium complex.
