April 18, 11:23 a.m., 200 block of State Street: Police responded to a dispute over a payment missed on a leased dishwashing machine. Police mediated the matter when the leasing company attempted to repossess the machine.
April 18, 1:38 p.m., 800 block of Arroyo Road: According to police, a male subject is wanted for battery after grabbing his ex-girlfriend’s arm, bear-hugging her to prevent her from leaving and taking her cellphone. The female victim eventually pried herself loose and reclaimed her cellphone to call authorities. The male subject fled via a nearby creek before officers arrived.
April 18, 4:41 p.m., 300 block of South Gordon Way: A resident reported having a laptop, a GPS unit and several other items stolen from two unlocked vehicles parked in his driveway.
April 17, 8:35 a.m., Foothill Expressway and Arboretum Drive: Police arrested a motorist during a traffic violation stop after discovering he had a $5,000 warrant out of San Mateo for driving on a suspended license. The suspect was booked into Santa Clara County Main Jail.
April 17, 8:15 p.m., 900 block of Andover Way: Police received a report of an intoxicated subject causing a disturbance and destroying property at a residence. According to police, the subject had ingested prescription drugs, marijuana and alcohol. Upon arrival, police mediated the problem. No arrests were made.
