Both Draeger’s Market and State of Mind Public House and Pizzeria reopened over the weekend after being closed since late July due to employees testing positive for COVID-19.
Draeger’s closed on July 20 after multiple employees tested positive. State of Mind closed on July 23 after one positive test for an employee.
In a statement posted to its Facebook page, State of Mind said it reopened on Saturday (August 1).
The post read: “We are confident that we are opening safely for both our guests and staff. We will continue to practice the highest safety and sanitation procedures. This includes mandatory masks, temperature checks, glove use, and regular sanitization of all high trafficked areas. We hope to see you all soon.
Draeger's owner John Draeger said in a statement that the market reopened on Sunday (August 2) and that all test results for employees came back negative with a few more pending. Only staff members who have tested negative are permitted to return to work.
"Our protocols remain the same; we are placing heavy emphasis on personal responsibility," Draeger said.
