BCS files new legal action
Bullis Charter School filed a new legal action last week, challenging the Los Altos School District’s adherence to conditions outlined in the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA).
The action points to the district’s addition of a modular structure at Egan Junior High School as a possible violation of CEQA restrictions on that site.
The district currently is invoking CEQA laws to challenge the charter school’s enrollment caps at both Egan and Blach Intermediate schools in a pending lawsuit that questions the 2013-2014 charter school facilities allocation.
The Town Crier will provide updates as further information becomes available.
