Feb. 17, 10:56 a.m., 700 block of Panchita Way: A dog bite was reported.

Petty theft

Feb, 19, 2:12 a.m., 600 block of Orange Avenue: A petty theft was reported.

Identity theft

Feb. 17, 2:20 p.m., 600 block of Paco Drive: An identify theft was reported.

Misdemeanor warrant

Feb. 18, 1:39 a.m., Foothill Expressway and Edith Avenue: A suspect was arrested on a misdemeanor warrant.

Theft from vehicle

Feb. 16, 8:04 a.m., 2000 block of Deodara Drive: A resident reported items were stolen from his or her vehicle.

Commercial burglary

Feb. 20, 11:43 p.m., 2000 block of Grant Road: Three suspects entered the grocery store while others waited in a vehicle in the parking lot. The store security officer noticed the suspects loading several bottles of alcohol into grocery carts. The security officer chased the suspects when they attempted to flee the store without paying. The suspects dropped the bottles and fled. Los Altos police arrested five suspects. One suspect fled and is still at large.

Residential burglary

Feb. 21, between 9 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Orange Avenue: An unknown suspect(s) burglarized a residence. The victim was not sure if all the doors and windows were secured when she left the residence. A second victim stated that he did not discover any signs of forced entry, but he did find that an exterior window leading to a bedroom had been left unsecured. The victims have an alarm system but did not have the system activated at the time of the burglary. The value of the stolen property was approximately $4,150.
