The Los Altos Police Department has recorded 11 incidents of attempted or successful commercial burglary since late March. Following is a roundup.

• The Bicycle Outfitter at 963 Fremont Ave. was hit twice in a two-week period – March 22 and April 4 – with suspect(s) breaking in and stealing one bike each time.

• Always keep home doors and windows closed and locked when away or asleep. Likewise, ensure vehicle windows and doors are secured and never leave valuables behind – even for a short time or while vehicles are parked at home.
