The Mountain View Police Department shut down part of Grant Road at El Camino Real in Mountain View last week after bullet holes were found in a window at a bank, according to department spokeswoman Katie Nelson.

The department received reports from employees at Wells Fargo Bank of shots fired just before 3 p.m. Feb. 7. Nelson said there were no injuries, and that the damage was not part of a robbery.

“When we arrived, we canvassed the area but were unable to find any bullet casings,” she said.

Nelson added that police will examine the glass to determine whether a bullet or another object broke the window.
