A 52-year-old male cyclist from Palo Alto died Nov. 3 after a collision with a vehicle on Page Mill Road, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The accident between cyclist Jeffrey Donnelly and the driver of a black Volkswagen Golf occurred at approximately 6:50 a.m. near the intersection of Page Mill Road and Christopher Lane, the CHP reported.

The driver of the vehicle, a 19-year-old Palo Alto man, was not injured in the crash, CHP officials said.

Alcohol and/or drugs do not appear to have been a factor in the crash, said CHP Officer Art Montiel. The driver of the vehicle is cooperating with investigators, and the cause of the crash remains under investigation.
