April 21, 3:53 p.m., 400 block of Deodara Drive: An unknown suspect pried open the rear door of a home and stole jewelry. Police believe that the home was burglarized between 1 p.m. and just prior to the time the incident was reported.
April 22, 9:04 a.m., 100 block of Merritt Road: An unknown suspect rummaged through a resident’s unlocked car, locating a garage door opener that was then used to enter the home. The suspect stole cash from the victim’s purse inside the home.
April 22, 3:42 p.m., 100 block of Higgins Avenue: An unknown suspect attempted to break into a home by cutting a window screen before kicking in a door to gain access. The suspect ransacked the home, stealing jewelry and electronics.
April 26, 8:17 a.m., 1500 block of Canterbury Way: An unknown suspect entered a vacated house on a construction site through a side door and stole several construction tools.
April 24, 11:59 a.m., 200 block of Main Street: An employee at Earthworks contacted police after discovering that a customer used a stolen credit card to purchase several items. Police are investigating the matter.
Misdemeanor warrant arrest
April 24, 1:56 p.m., Fallen Leaf Lane and Marshall Court: Police arrested a male door-to-door solicitor wanted on an outstanding $30,000 traffic warrant out of Long Beach. The male suspect was booked into the Santa Clara County Main Jail.
April 25, 12:35 p.m., 300 block of Main Street: An unknown suspect broke into a vehicle parked behind Opa! restaurant and stole several items.
