Los Altos Hills announces Planning Commission vacancy

Los Altos Hills residents with a hankering for community service have a new opportunity to demonstrate it via a recent Planning Commission vacancy.

City Clerk Deborah Padovan posted notice Thursday on the town website of Commissioner Jim Abraham’s intended resignation. Residents wishing to apply for the position and serve out Abraham’s term through June 30 should email Padovan at This email address is being protected from spambots. City council members will determine a process for selecting from applicants at a future council meeting. The next one is scheduled Jan. 16.

Pursuant to government code, the city council will not make an appointment to the position before Friday, when 10 working days have passed.

Abraham said he served for more than 10 years.
