Mountain View author published in new 'Geocaching' anthology

Mountain View author Karen Allendoerfer’s story on geocaching is featured in the anthology “Geocaching GPS: Great Personal Stories of Romance, Adventure, and Connection” (New Frontier Books, 2015).

Geocaching employs GPS technology to help game players locate caches of hidden treasure. There are more than 2.6 million geocaches hidden worldwide in both rural and urban settings.

New Frontier Books Editor Kimberly Eldredge selected Allendoerfer’s geocaching story, “Bobbing for Bob,” for publication in the book, which includes 44 authors from four continents. While geocaching is the common theme that unites all of the stories and poems, the entries also fall into one of three categories: romance, geocaching adventures and how playing the game of geocaching led to deeper connections or friendships.
