Pathways Home Health, Hospice & Private Duty has scheduled an Evening of Remembrance Memorial Service for those who are grieving, 5:30-6:30 p.m. May 29 at Los Altos United Methodist Church, 655 Magdalena Ave.
The nondenominational service will include a short program with music, readings and support. During the evening, participants will be invited to create a remembrance bouquet, with individual flowers representing a loved one. Pathways will provide flowers, but participants may bring a special or significant flower to place in the bouquet.
“Grief can be very isolating,” said Chris Taich, director of bereavement services at Pathways. “Individuals who are grieving will find a place of comfort at our Evening of Remembrance Memorial Service. It is a good place to gain support and begin to heal from loss.”
Pathways resources, open to everyone in the community, include information and referrals, grief support groups and workshops, remembrance events, counseling, educational materials and community presentations.
Admission to the Evening of Remembrance is free and open to the public. RSVPs are encouraged to enable adequate planning.
