Children's Corner collects baby clothes for nonprofit

Children’s Corner Preschool in Los Altos has scheduled a holiday clothing drive to support the nonprofit Loved Twice.

Donations of gently used baby clothing and accessories may be dropped off at the Children’s Corner office at Hillview Community Center, 97 Hillview Ave., 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. weekdays through Monday.

Loved Twice helps local families in need by providing clothing for newborns during their first year of life.

Clothes are boxed and donated to social service organizations such as Inn- Vision Shelter Network and Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital, which distribute the clothing free of charge to families in need.

Accepted items include blankets, socks, hats, pants, short- and long-sleeved onesies, sleepers, bibs, overalls, jackets, dresses, diapers, Baby Bjorn carriers and board books.
