Los Altos Live!, the sixth annual talent show featuring local performers, is scheduled 7:30 p.m. April 26 at Los Altos High School’s Eagle Theater, 201 Almond Ave.

The show, sponsored by the Los Altos Cultural Association, will feature more than 75 performers in 20 different acts, ranging from dancers to jugglers, martial artists, singers and musicians.

“This year Los Altos Live! has some brand-new performers,” said Abby Althoff, chief coordinator for the event. “We have bell ringers, tap dancers, violinists, pianists and more. Performers range in age from 8 to 83. There is something for everyone in this show.”

Featured performers include groups from the Los Altos Stage Company, the Community School of Music and Arts, Peninsula Youth Theatre, Bullis Charter School, Marti’s Dance Studio and the San Juan School of Dance. Among the solo artists is pianist Justin Read, whose keyboard prowess will “knock you out of your seat,” Althoff said.

Cristy Dawson, assistant principal at Los Altos High, will return as master of ceremonies.

Tickets are $20 adult, $10 student. Tickets are available at the Town Crier, 138 Main St.; Main Street Cafe & Books, 134 Main St.; and Los Altos High. They also may be purchased online at losaltoslive2014.eventbrite.com.

Proceeds from the event enable Los Altos High students to attend Camp Diversity, a leadership development program with core values that promote nonviolent campus communities.
