Morning Forum of Los Altos continues 2014 series

The Morning Forum of Los Altos Winter/Spring lecture season is underway. Presentations are scheduled 10:15-11:45 a.m. the first and third Tuesdays of each month at Los Altos United Methodist Church, 655 Magdalena Ave.

Upcoming speakers and topics:

• Tuesday: Scott Summit, founder and chief technology officer of Bespoke Innovations, “3D Technology: How 3D Printing Is Changing the World.”

• March 18: Robert Wittman, former FBI special agent and founder of the FBI Art Crime Team, “USA versus Art Thieves: True Tales from the FBI’s Real Indiana Jones.”

• April 1: Neal Benezra, director of the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, “SFMOMA on the Go.”

• April 15: G. Willow Wilson, novelist and essayist, “‘The Butterfly Mosque’ and ‘Women in Islam: A Memoir about Life in Egypt.’”

• May 6: Robert Kuhn, associate director of the UC Santa Cruz Genome Browser, Jack Baskin School of Engineering, “The Human Genome: What We Know and What We Want to Know.”

• May 20: Jose Antonio Vargas, Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist, filmmaker and immigration activist, “Define American.”
