Celebrity Forum continues speaker series in 2014

The 46th Annual Foothill College Celebrity Forum Speakers Series runs through May at the Flint Center for the Performing Arts on the De Anza College campus, 21250 Stevens Creek Blvd., Cupertino.

Sponsored by the Foothill-De Anza Community College District, the annual series presents speakers from various fields who appear for three consecutive nights.

Series founder Dick Henning serves as moderator.

The lineup includes:

• Steve Wozniak, Jan. 22, 23 and 24. Wozniak co-founded Apple Inc.

• Leon Panetta, Feb. 19, 20 and 21. Panetta, former Secretary of Defense, served under President Barack Obama when Osama bin Laden was killed.

• Doris Kearns Goodwin, March 26, 27 and 28. Goodwin is a Pulitzer Prize-winning biographer and world-renowned historian.

• Jacques Pépin, April 23, 24 and 25. Pépin, an internationally recognized French chef and television personality, will appear with his daughter, Claudine.

• Lara Logan and Bob Simon, May 14, 15 and 16. Logan and Simon are foreign correspondents for the CBS news program “60 Minutes.” Their areas of expertise include the Middle East, Afghanistan and North Korea.
